“A good yardstick for measuring the excellence of any inn is the quality of cuisine served there. ..Moore's culinary expertise is an unexpected additional touch of class to be tacked onto the balance sheet….These are meals one would find in metropolitan restaurants…” Flyfishing Magazine 1984
Dining at the Inn …
The Rogue Forest B&B takes great pride in their commitment to use only the finest ingredients for guest meals. Having the rich selection of Oregon's farm and field, the tradition of enjoying organic gourmet meals at the Inn is one of the highlights of staying with us.
In shopping and preparing your meal, we use local organic fruit and vegetables, organic dairy products and other organic food staples. Everything is fresh and delicious and made especially for you.
Each meal is served with special attention to guest preferences, including when and where you wish to dine. For guests in the Osprey Cabin Suite, enjoy first-class room service.
We are happy to accommodate guests with special dietary requests. Just let us know what you need!

Other Dining Options
A dinner option that many guests enjoy is to bring a "picnic" dinner to eat at the B&B. The Inn has a BBQ and we are more than happy to grill something for you.
Just off the I-5 Merlin Exit (#61) there is a grocery store, Ray's Market. Also, a quicki-mart is a few miles farther down the road towards the B&B.
Restaurants
Within walking distance from the Rogue Forest Bed & Breakfast and River Company is the Galice Resort, a café/restaurant with a large informal deck overlooking the river. The place is a well-known spot for river rafters and has live music on weekends during the summer. (Open April - October)
The next closest restaurants are back towards the freeway in Merlin (11 miles from the Inn) where there are two restaurants:
Backroad Grill (Open March - November) This casual restaurant offers some of the best. Great food, great ambiance and great service!
Baldini's is a small-town Italian place with friendly wait staff.
For a special dinner away from the Inn, try Summer Jo's Farm, Garden, and Restaurant, located on an organic farm near Grants Pass. Dining at Summer Jo's offers guests the opportunity to ramble through fields of flowers and greens and then experience the transformation of the farm's bounty into memorable meals.
We would also be delighted to assist with other Grants Pass restaurant recommendations.
