Music is alive at the Inn!
Located in a special corner of the Rogue Forest Bed & Breakfast is Marshall Dixon Guitars, maker of fine handcrafted classical and steel-string guitars. For musical guests, there’s always a fine-playing guitar or two around for music-making.

The Rogue Forest Bed & Breakfast is located within the Hellgate Recreation Area of the National Wild and Scenic corridor of the Rogue River. The Inn lies in a steep canyon within earshot of Rocky Riffle, a Class II rapid, and is surrounded by a forest of fir, pine, cedar, madrone, oak, maple and dogwood.
The architecture of the Inn embraces the dramatic beauty of the river corridor. From every room, large view windows bring the forest inside like works of art. Outside, multi-level redwood decks abound with a wooden walkway leading from the Main House to the Osprey Cabin Suite.
The layout of the Inn works well for couples or small private gatherings with loved ones. The Rogue Forest B&B provides plenty of space for both getting together and taking private time away from each other.

History of the Rogue Forest B&B
There’s an interesting history of the Rogue Forest B&B property before it was a B&B. Here’s the intro to the Boatman's Quarterly Review, "River Runners Oral History Project" transcripts of Vladimir Kovalik, who designed and built the main house and Osprey Cabin Suite as a personal retreat before the current owners established the Rogue Forest B&B:
One of the best, brightest, and certainly most colorful characters ever to grace the passageways of the Grand Canyon (or more appropriately—the planet Earth) is a crazy Czechoslovakian named Vladimir Kovalik (VK). Most of us owe the man… more than we know. Back in the good old days VK… started a river company called Wilderness World. What we all owe him for…is a passion for design and perfection that led to more advances in boats and boating technology than you could shake a stick at: the Campways Havasu, Miwok, Apache; today’s Avon Spirit and Pro; whole companies like Riken Inflatables and Maravia that were sucked into the business in part through VK ’s energy and enthusiasm; as well as boats by Caligari and Metzler; features like self-bailing floors, lace-in thwarts, sitting on the cooler, collapsible frames...all these things and many more VK had a major hand in. He’s brilliant, fearless, an unrestrained doer. —Lew Steiger
