Green Lodging Practices

We strive to offer a lodging experience where guests can enjoy the surrounding beauty of the Rogue River corridor with the least harmful environmental impact. Every day we work to reduce waste and carbon in and around the Rogue Forest B&B. Here is a sample of our green lodging practices:

• Native landscaping/reduced garden watering
• Bulk purchasing to reduce auto trips to town
• Organic cooking
• Low-energy replacements for appliances and fixtures
• Biodegradable cleaning supplies
• Recycling/composting
• Fluorescent lights

To do our part and to stay connected with other groups that support green practices, the Rogue Forest B&B is a member of/or supports the following organizations:

• The International Ecotourism Society (TIES)
• Green Hotels
• Middle Rogue Watershed Council
